“Dinosaurs In The Wild” is an ambitious project that kept myself plus a whole host of talented artists busy for 18 months. We created a huge range of complex 6K VFX shots in stereoscopic 3D, incorporating the latest palaeontological knowledge, for an immersive theatrical theme park-style experience that takes visitors back 67 million years to the time of the dinosaurs.
The scale of the project required a burstable rendering solution enabling Milk to render 77,760,000 frames in the Cloud, in 10 weeks.
